We all know that blahh feeling of having an off day. Like you got up on the wrong side of the bed. The rest of your day you'll probably feel like nothing is gonna work out, like you can't do anything right. But wait a second... You can! If you ever have an off day again, -and hey, it happens- just remember these tips.
1. Do something GOOD for someone else
Nothing will make you feel better than doing something good for someone else, whether you know them or not. Good karma points for you if you decide to call your grandmother after being like 'I should really call her some day'. Just do it, don't postpone things that could put a smile on someones face. Or get up for older people on the bus. Or complimenting a colleague. There are tons of little spontanious things you can do for someone else that will make you feel better too.
2. Have a proper breakfast
No matter how moody you got up or how not motivated you are for the day, starting with a good breakfast will work wonders. It will get your energy levels up and that is exactly what you need when you feel like it's going to be another crappy day. Here's what you should not have for breakfast and the healthier alternatives!
3. Go for a walk
Fresh air does wonders for your mood. It's a great way to take your mind off of things and to take in the nature or surroundings around you. Working out is even better to get you feeling energetic, but on an off day, it's harder to drag yourself to the gym than it is to just go for a quick walk.
If you know things that always make you feel more happy or motivated, write them down on a list so you can remind yourself on an off day. It's the simple things in life than can really change the way we feel and make every day a good, positive day!
