These Daily Habits Are As Bad As Smoking

It's the people who smoke who always hear it's the worst thing they could do for their health... But is that true? It turns out that there are habits we all do on a daily basis, that are seriously just as bad as smoking! Yup, so if you're reading this, you might want to use this to set some healthy new years resolutions.

Sitting all day
Most typical office jobs require you to sit in front of your laptop all day. And after a long day, what do we all love to do? Hop on to the couch untill we go to sleep. So have we had enough excersise at the end of the day? Nope! According to the Services-Cancer Care centre in Canada, sitting all day has been linked to different kinds of cancer about 160.000 times this year. So, if you have to sit all day, make sure to take the stairs instead of the elevator, go out for a walk during your lunch break and take regular breaks to get yourself something to drink.

Eating too much meat or cheese
High levels of dietary animal protein contain the hormone IGF-1, which can stimulate cancer cells to form. A research has shown that people who eat lots of products that contains this hormone, especially found in meat and cheese, are 4 times more likely to get cancer! So if you're a real meat and cheese lover, it's a good idea to have a vegan or vegetarian day.

Not getting enough sleep
Not getting enough sleep can cause higher blood pressure, heart attacks, obesity and chronic sleeping problems. Most people seem to think that being tired all day is normal. It's not!
